After finishing my portfolio FLOWER / POWER, Barbara Hitchcock and Jan Hnizdo from the Polaroid Collection invited me several times to work with big Polaroid-Camera (20 x 24″). At first I refused, because my flowers were photographed outdoors and the Polaroid camera was made for photographing inside. But after the second call, I decided to look for backgrounds and bring them with my flowers into a studio. This collaboration happened four times and the series was awarded in 1990 by the Art-Director’s Club Germany and by Graphis Magazine in 1991 as „Best Stillife“ of the year.
